MACA is seeking a Warranty Lead to join our Plant Operations team on a permanent, full-time basis, working a Monday to Friday roster based in Welshpool.

Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, the Warranty Lead is responsible for managing warranty claims and core return processes across MACA's mobile and fixed plant fleet.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring all eligible warranty recoveries, supplier credits, and core reimbursements are captured and processed efficiently, contributing directly to the performance and cost-effectiveness of our operations.

Key responsibilities:

 

• Administer and manage Warranty Claims and Core Return Processes for mobile and fixed plant components.

• Coordinate the return of warranty and core components to OEMs and suppliers within required timeframes.

• Track Core Returns, Credits, and Reimbursements to ensure all eligible recoveries are received.

• Maintain accurate records of Warranty Claims, Core Movements, and Financial Recoveries.

• Liaise with Warehouse, Maintenance, Procurement, and supplier representatives to ensure timely processing of warranty and core transactions.

• Reconcile supplier credits and invoices relating to Warranty and Core Returns.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with Warranty Claims, Core Charges, and Supplier Credits.

• Monitor outstanding warranty and core claims and follow up with suppliers to expedite resolution.

• Produce regular reports on Warranty Recoveries, Core Credits, outstanding claims, and financial performance.

• Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and innovation within MACA work practices.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

• Previous experience in a Warranty, Parts, Stores, Maintenance Planning, Procurement, or Asset Management role. 

• Strong Administrative and Organisational Skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work Autonomously and manage competing priorities.

• Strong Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Skills.

• Experience working with ERP Systems such as Pronto, JDE, SAP, or similar (highly desirable).

• A Mechanical Trade Qualification or exposure to Heavy Mobile Equipment (preferred but not essential).

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel.

• A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
